An Ode To Pusser's Rum - Rest assured Pussers is now back down under

The excitement down under that the 36-year Pusser's Rum dry spell has ended knows no bounds. Pusser's recently received the following from an old salty living in Western Australia.

Ode to Pussers Rum.

Many old salts have crossed the bar Who have travelled to lands both near and far On ships of the navy both big and small Awaiting mid day for the bosun's call.

Up Spirits my lads your tot I will measure And as bosun of rum Sippers or Gulpers my pleasure You do not feel well ?? Cannot drink down your tot It cannot be wasted so I'll drink the lot

Tradition abounds bout navy and rum Tis drink for others and currency for some Tis tradition that I did not break I've traded a tot for many a steak

Then came the day the end of the tot The Admiralty said.afraid that's yer lot. Then sold in a bottle for one and all No more "Up Spirits" a bosuns call

But cheer up my lads and jackmeharty Blue Sky Beverages have come to the party No more Captain Morgan will we have to thank That weak old bastard will now walk the plank

So when you hear the lightening and thunder. Rest assured Pussers is now back down under.
